actually swapped a SR20DET into a Z32? I've been reading up a lot about doing NA - TT swaps. I have a hefty repair bill to replace a couple fuel injectors, multiple gaskets, CAS (?), timing belt (labor only 'cause I got the parts) and more down the road I'm sure. I realize that swapping a TT into an NA is not the best way and that I should just buy a TT. However, I want something more reliable and easier to work on myself. A local Z32 mechanic/tuner said a SR20 swap would be an improvement over stock NA performance. I'm not looking to have a 350 + horsepower car. I want a daily driver with some zip to it and something that wont suck my wallet dry. Yes, I realize that is exactly the case with any Z32. Back to my original question though, has anyone even done a SR20DET swap into a Z32? One can only way pros and cons so much and still not know the outcome without hard evidence or first hand experience.
